100 years old? Birthday party planned for Northern California centenarians

The free celebration on September 20 is being held in honor of National Centenarian Day.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

All 100-year-olds in Northern California are invited to take part in a birthday party this week, hosted by Eskaton, a nonprofit organization that provides senior care.

The free celebration is being held in honor of National Centenarian Day, which is Sept. 22 this year. The company is encouraging all centenarians and their families to attend. 

Eskaton is hoping to raise $100,000 to improve the quality of life for Sacramento-area seniors. 

The birthday party will take place on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Eskaton Village Carmichael.
